Josh Raysin Pit supporters like this mother have lied to themselves so much they can't even see the truth when it's laying dead in front of them.

No, she won't be able to move on, poor woman.
Sheila Moss's only son, Declan, was killed Monday by the family's dogs. Now she's grieving the loss of her little boy.

  • Julia Lewis Absolutely. Awful for him. She probably can't bear the thought that she should never had had pit bulls in the first place, she needs to blame someone.

  • Julia Lewis Pit bull apologists never seem to understand that if their dogs do attack, it's almost impossible to get them off someone. They are so complacent about this, despite the many stories showing that a bullet was the only thing that ended the attack.

  • Jessica Raysin I watched this on bay news 9 last night. She sat there giving this interview, while she had one of her other 4 pit bulls sitting right next to her petting him.

  • Sonya Del Rio Cerezo Let's see what excuses the nutters will come up with for this one, they will blame the child or the owner for sure.

  • Jessica Raysin Actually neighbors were telling news stations that the dogs had killed other small animals before.

  • Jean Olszewski Except for the fact these these dogs belonged to the mom, this case is very similar to Kim and Jeff Jeff Borchardt. Daxton was their one and only miracle baby , taken away by the jaws of 2 pit bulls belonging to a long time friend .

  • Jan Segura Comeaux Did y'all read where it said shes battling cancer? Im sorry that doesn't make me feel sorry for her or not blame her, especially when shes still defending their dogs, and having one on an interview with her!

Maybe as time passes she will realize she may be able to help save another child from this preventable and gruesome death. After seeing her petting her other beloved pit on TV last night though I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

  • Sonya Del Rio Cerezo This mother put her child in danger to keep a high risk dog breed.
But if they're nanny dogs, why did it do this?

  • Joseph Angelo Bully breed and rescue dogs of "mixed breed" are a potential threat in any household. The breed deception and propaganda are causing uneducated AND educated people to believe these dogs make great family pets, which is a BOLD FACE LIE. Do most kill? Of course not. But how do you know which one will?

  • Kelly Reid Walls She had thyroid cancer sometime back. But honestly, none of that is relevant to the danger to which this child was exposed.

  • Christy Cornell She is heavily propagandized and in denial. Who knows if she will ever wake up, but sometimes it just takes time and exposure to truthful education for that to happen.

I bet she has no ideal what the statistics are and has probably learned most of what she knows about pitbulls from pro-pitbull memes, and the pit-positive telivision programming on Animal Planet/Nat Geo.

Her poor little son is statistic now. He's a victim and the pro-pitbull propagandist have as much blood on them as the killer pitbulls.

Not likely that grandfather ( disables or not) could have saved that poor child from one attacking pitbull, much less two. He couldn't have kept those dogs from savaging that child even if the attack would have happened with him standing right beside the child or holding it in his arms. We know that from other attack incidents. And that windowed porch was no further away from his sight than another room in his house would be.

If a domesticated dog breed is going to frequently take the opportunity of killing a (familiar) child, attacking a child in a sustained and severe attack, not just a little bite/nip, then that breed should be regulated and people should have to sign a waiver that they will never have the dog around children. Not even when an adult is present because many attacks happen when the adult is in the very same room or within yards of the child. Domesticated dogs shouldn't be this risky. If you cant trust your family pet not to kill your child at every opportunity, then the risk you take with that family pet is about the same risk you take with trained coyote/wolf as a family pet.

  • Legina Newman Boswell She is nothing but trash who kept vicious beasts and still does around a defenseless child and a disabled person. It could have either or both. It should have been her. Why? I want to know has there not been 6 bullets used to rid the neighborhood and planet of those beasts?
